What is the Dander Lab 470 Premium Sensitivity Test?
Dander Lab 470 Premium Sensitivity Test is a non-invasive food and environmental sensitive test for pets. It is an alternative, non-invasive test using Bioresonance technology to pick up more than 300 food and non-food sensitives, using just a small amount of fur. Key Features includes:
- Comprehensive Testing: Assesses a wide range of potential sensitivities, including foods, drinks, and environmental factors.
- Non-Invasive: Requires only a small hair or fur sample, making it stress-free for your pet.
- Easy-to-Understand Report: Delivers clear insights to help you understand your pet's sensitivities and make informed decisions about their care.
What is Sensitivity?
Sensitivities include reactions to both food and non-food items that trigger a non-immune response. Unlike allergies, sensitivities are often linked to factors such as a lack of specific enzymes needed for digestion, or reactions to food additives and preservatives.
How do I know if my pet might be suffering from intolerances/sensitivities?
Symptoms of food sensitivity in pets may include but not limited to:
Bloating, Fatigue, Vomiting, Itchy Skin, Hair Loss, Hives, Loose Stools, Swollen Face.
Which type of Pets are suitable for the Dander Lab Sensitivity test?

There are 470 food and non-food items tested for sensitivity reaction. Click 470 tab to see the full list of items that are tested. Do note that only items that have a reactivity of more than 85% will be reported in the report.
HAIR SAMPLE COLLECTION
How do I take a hair sample?
First, ensure your pet is comfortable and relaxed, so that they remain still while taking the sample. Only a little sample is required. You may use the comb provided in the Sample Collection Kit, brush your pet and drop the samples that have caught on to the comb into the sealed grip bag provided.
If your pet has short or no hair, you may choose to pluck or cut some fur samples as close to the root as possible. The hair sample does not need to be from the head. We can test hair from any part of the body including the leg, arm or chest.
How much hair do I have to provide?
A small amount of 5-7 strands, each at least an inch long, will be sufficient. We do not require large clumps of hair.
My pet's hair is dyed, will this affect the result?
No, the test is completed on the composition of the hair sample so hair colouring will have no effect on the result.
My pet is on medication. Can I do the test?
We recommend you to finish any immunotherapy medications oral or injection), and wait for 1 to 2 months before you do the test.
We are able to accept your sample if your pet is currently on steroid treatment, however, do speak to us and let us know your pet’s current condition, as testing might not help your pet if it is a recurring issue for a long time.
BIORESONANCE TESTING
What is Bioresonance therapy and testing?
Bioresonance therapy and testing is a form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). While not part of conventional veterinary care, these methods can offer supportive guidance to help you better understand your pet’s sensitivities. It is a non-invasive method that evaluates sensitivities by measuring the body's energetic responses to various substances.
What is the testing process like?
Bioresonance technology has been used in practices globally since 1970’s and has been improving at a significant rate. For the testing that we perform, we require a few strands of hair which are placed in one of the four MARS III analytical machines.
From the sample the equipment generates a report to identify whether or not the client will have any reactions, and therefore whether or not you need to avoid certain items or could be experiencing any imbalances. Our test results provide customers with a comprehensive and detailed overview of the potential items which a client may be sensitive to.
Tests include food items, non-food items, nutrition and metals in one comprehensive report.
Why use Bioresonance testing?
- Easy to take sample – A small hair sample is all that is required from the client.
- Test more items – Bioresonance testing allows us to test against a large number of items.
- Fast turnaround – The testing process in our labs is faster than preparing a blood sample for IgG4 or IgE antibody analysis.
- Low cost – Due to the speed of testing and the reduced work required to prepare a hair sample for testing we are able to pass on the savings to the client.
- Alternative therapy – Many clients have exhausted other ‘conventional’ testing to discover the causes of symptoms.
It's important to note that food sensitivities in pets can develop and regress over time due to factors such as age, diet changes, and overall health. Because of this, no single test can provide a definitive or permanent answer to a pet's sensitivities.
